For imported food additives that do not comply with the provisions of this article, the entry-exit inspection and quarantine agency may confiscate it in accordance with the provisions of Article 58 of the Regulations, impose a fine of less than 10,000 yuan, and impose a fine of 2,000 yuan up to 50,000 yuan. If the value of goods is more than 10,000 yuan, a fine of 2 to 5 times the value of the goods will be imposed.
