This year, Vietnam's rice exports will exceed 6.5 million tons, setting a record high

According to a report by the Vietnamese "Labor" on October 11, the Vietnam Grain Society stated that in the first nine months of this year Vietnam's rice exports reached 5.39 million tons, amounting to 2.28 billion US dollars, an increase of 8.51% and 12.9% year-on-year respectively. The average export price of rice was 422.6 U.S. dollars per ton, an increase of 16.4 U.S. dollars per ton. It is expected that 1.2 million tons will be exported in the fourth quarter. This year, rice exports will exceed 6.5 million tons, reaching 6.5-6.6 million tons, a record high.
