Second, the merger method
1. Yarn cover merger method. This method is relatively simple and easy to master operations. Before merging the bee colony, as long as the queen of the group to be merged or the group is taken away, it is sufficient to leave a strong, high-quality queen bee. Between the two beehives, a yarn cover is added, and the upper and lower beehives are left with their beaks. Give enough feed and water to remove the yarn cover in one day or so.
2. Newspaper consolidation method. The method is to add a newspaper between the two upper and lower united beehives. The operation time should be carried out at night. The newspapers must pierce some small holes so that the scent of the two bee colonies merges. The bees bite the newspapers and communicate with each other without any hostility. After the merger was successful, the newspapers could be removed the next day for internal adjustment of the beehive.
3. The smell is adjusted legally. In the production season, the distance between the two boxes is gradually shortened, and the queens of the merged bee colonies are removed before they are merged. Then the bees' bodies are sprayed with honey water to make them suck each other's body's honey water. In the integration, this method can be applied to small and medium bee colonies. In addition, using appropriate amounts of white spirit, about 10 times of fresh water is sprayed on the body of both bees to disturb the sensitivity of both odors, and the bees are temporarily anesthetized. 4. Smoke smoke merger method. This method should also be carried out when the outside world has a honey source. Before the merger, the two boxes of bee colonies should also be brought close to each other. When operating, the two groups of bee colonies should be sprayed with a smoke sprayer so that they only use a lot of honey and lose vigilance. Mergers are easy to succeed, but this method can waste a lot of honey and should be used with caution.
