According to the reporter's information display area at the school's School of Pharmacy, there are only 2 male students out of the 51 classes in the Chinese Medicine College, and only a dozen male students out of more than 60 students in the 01 class of Chinese medicine.

"It may be that the average student does not understand the meaning of Chinese medicine, and he feels liberal arts. In fact, many professional courses require a solid foundation of science." Wang Xuesong, a student at the School of Pharmacy 2011, introduced his professional situation to his younger sisters at the orientation stage. Of the 56 students in his 2011 pharmacy, there are 25 boys, and the proportion of men and women at the time of enrollment is roughly the same.

At the basic medical school, more than 1,400 students were enrolled this year, and the ratio of girls to boys reached 2:1.

According to the person in charge of the school’s Academic Affairs Office, after the ratio of male and female students reached 1:2.5 last year, the number of female students has increased again this year, and the characteristics of female students are spreading to science and engineering majors.

Although many professional girls nowadays have distinct characteristics, many respondents believe that boys tend to be more popular in employment.

Boys have good physical strength, and they have a lot of convenience in business trips. They are more popular, and the girls are more likely to choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination. In the nursing colleges where female students dominate, although the few male nurses who graduate each year are very popular, there are still few boys who can apply for nursing care. Of the 731 people admitted to the college this year, only 52 were boys.
