General glass instrument

For example, flasks, beakers, etc., can be washed first with tap water, then brushed with soap, detergent or detergent, then washed with tap water, and finally rinsed with purified water 3 times (should be flushed with the wall and fully shaken) To improve the flushing effect).

Metering glass instrument

For example, burettes, pipettes, measuring bottles, measuring cups, etc., can also be washed with soap and washing powder, but not with a brush.

General reagent bottles, flasks

Rinse with tap water first, then put it into the ultrasonic wave containing clean water, add dissolved detergent powder (or laundry detergent, detergent), ultrasonic cleaning for about 5 minutes, and keep the water temperature between 25-45 degrees. Rinse with tap water and rinse with purified water for 3 times (should be flushed along the wall and shaken thoroughly to improve the washing effect. After washing, it can be placed on the instrument rack and dried naturally in the dust-free place.

Precision or difficult to wash glass instruments

For example, burettes, pipettes, measuring bottles, colorimetric tubes, glass drenching funnels, etc., first rinse with tap water, drain, and then treated with chromic acid cleaning solution for a period of time (usually placed overnight), then washed with tap water, Finally, rinse with purified water 3 times.

Bottle washer

For the laboratory where the bottle washer is configured, when the experimenter finishes the experiment, the remaining solution in the glass instrument should be poured into the waste liquid tank, and washed with water, and then the glass instrument washed with water is placed. In the bottle washer, adjust the required washing time and drying time. After the cleaning is completed, take out the cold, dry it and put it into the storage room.

note:

1) When cleaning the instrument, the handle should be cleaned first, so as to prevent the oil on the hand from sticking to the instrument wall, which increases the difficulty of washing;

2) Instruments with grinding plugs, such as volumetric flasks, colorimetric tubes, etc., are best used to tie the plugs and tubes before cleaning to avoid breaking the plugs or confusing them.

3) Whether the glass instrument is cleaned and judged. When the instrument is inverted, the inner wall does not hang water drops.


2, the drying of glass equipment

Instruments that are not in a hurry can be placed on the instrument rack to be naturally dried in a dust-free place; if it is used eagerly, general glass instruments, such as beakers and flasks, can be dried at a temperature of 60 to 70 ° C; Dry, can not be baked in the oven, if urgently needed, can be rinsed with analytical pure ethanol and dried.


3. Storage of glass instruments

Clean glass instruments should be stored in the test cabinet in separate categories. Place them in a safe, high, large instrument. Grinding instruments that need to be stored for a long time should be padded with a piece of paper between the plugs to avoid sticking for a long time.
