After the wheat is harvested, it is in a season of high temperature and high humidity. Once it is improperly stored, it will be susceptible to mildew. Several new techniques for the safe storage of wheat are described below. First, the agricultural film sealing method. Select a thicker plastic agricultural film, according to the amount of stored grain, cut into cylindrical backup (seam with iron can be hot). Choose high-temperature sunny days, dry the wheat on the drying field and expose it for 3 to 5 hours, so that the moisture content of the wheat is reduced to below 12%. Heat it into sacks or woven bags, and place the agricultural film horizontally on the warehouse. Grab a bag of wheat into the tube and tie it tightly. Keep 7 to 10 days, you can play the role of insecticidal sterilization. Then open the ventilation and cooling, then Zhakou storage. If the temperature in the film has dropped, it may not be ventilated. If the wheat needs to be stored for many years, quicklime, which accounts for 5% to 10% of wheat weight, should be placed on the bottom of the wheat heap as a desiccant. Second, hypoxia preservation method. This is a kind of natural oxygen-deficient storage method that uses the characteristics of long ripening period of wheat, high temperature of cultivating vats, and vigorous breathing. The oxygen in the cylinder is gradually reduced due to the breathing of wheat. The carbon dioxide content can be increased to 2% to 5% within 5 to 10 days. The insects can suffocate and die for a certain period of time. This method of storing wheat should control the moisture content of wheat within 12.5%, and the average grain temperature should be kept above 30°C. Third, heat sealing method. Choose sunny and hot weather, after the sun drying at 9:00 in the morning, first spread the wheat to the drying floor, and then move sacks and other utensils and materials out of the drying. The wheat should be diligently turned, so that the temperature of the wheat rose to 48 ~ 52 °C, the moisture content dropped to 12.5% or less, gathered around the afternoon of 3 pm, hot and boring for half an hour, immediately into the tank. The sterilized air-laid material is used to cover the lid, and then seal the cylinder mouth with a film to keep the grain temperature above 40° C. for 8 to 40 days. The pest eggs, cockroaches, larvae and adults can be killed. Fourth, chemical storage method. For new wheat relying on natural oxygen deficiency for pest control purposes, after entering the tank, each two pieces of aluminum phosphide were wrapped with gauze and then evenly inserted into the grain tanks with fine bamboo sticks one by one. In the case of bagged wheat, the aluminum phosphide wrapped in cloth can be directly placed between the bag and the bag, and then sealed with a plastic sheet. This method is suitable for long-term storage. Generally 4 to 5 grams of aluminum phosphide per ton of wheat.
