Summer safety driving "eight defenses"

One anti-open pot. In summer, the driver checks the working performance of the thermostat on the engine, eliminates scale, and keeps the cooling water circulating. Before you get out of the car, you must add enough water to adjust the tightness of the fan belt according to the standard. When driving, watch for changes in water temperature or water temperature. Once a pot is opened, stop immediately to allow the engine to run at an intermediate speed. When the water temperature drops to 60 to 70 degrees, add clean cooling water to the tank. Do not add cold water when the pot is opened.

Two explosion-proof tires. Large temperature difference between day and night in summer, locomotive exposure can cause tire cracking and puncture. Body paints are also subject to ageing and shedding. Therefore, precautions should be taken to prevent exposure of locomotives. Inflating tires in the morning should be about 30% less than in winter. When driving, always check the tire pressure and temperature. If the tires are hot, you should park the motorcycle in a cool place and cool down. Do not use deflation or pouring cold water to lower the tire temperature.

Three anti-skid belts. At high temperatures, the belt is susceptible to slippage and damage. Therefore, the tension of the belt must be checked and adjusted frequently to reduce the slippage of the belt.

Four electrical equipment damage. The high temperature work of the battery will produce a large amount of steam to block the vent holes, causing the battery to have high pressure and burst, and the high temperature will also oxidize the battery electrodes, causing the entire vehicle to suddenly lose power. Therefore, always check the electrolyte in the battery, add it if it is not enough, and keep the vent hole open. Apply Vaseline to the battery electrodes to prevent oxidation of the electrodes. If the electrode has been oxidized, remove the wire from the electrode, grind it with an abrasive cloth to remove the oxide layer, and then reinstall it firmly. Apply Vaseline.

Five against fire. Before driving in summer, check the connections of the circuits and fuel lines to prevent sparks caused by poor contact or fuel leakage. Do not use plastic buckets to contain oil to prevent static electricity from catching fire. Do not add too much fuel to the fuel tank to prevent spillage. A fire shield must be installed on the exhaust pipe to prevent fire.

Six bad lubrication. The engine should be changed according to the season, and maintain the normal oil surface, cleaning and maintenance of crude oil, fine filter and oil radiator, so that it works.

Seven anti-brake failure. At the beginning of the summer, hydraulically braked vehicles are required to check the master cylinder and the sub-pump, replace the brake fluid, and thoroughly drain the air in the brake line. Always check the height of the brake pedal. When changes occur, Timely adjustments. Air-braking vehicles should check and adjust the maximum brake pressure to check the brake cups and brake hoses.

Eight anti-fatigue heatstroke. Driving in summer, the driver is prone to fatigue and heatstroke. He should bring a kettle, buckets and towels along with the vehicle to prevent heatstroke. If you feel dizzy, bitter, and powerless, you must stop and rest immediately. After your head is clear or your body is back to normal, you can continue driving to avoid accidents.
