1. Arrangement of Agricultural Pumps
(1) The actual suction head of the pump must be lower than the allowable vacuum height of the pump.
(2) The water inlet pipe of the water pump should be as short and straight as possible, and should not be lifted up or higher than the water pump on the horizontal line so as to avoid cavitation during the operation of the water pump and to reduce the efficiency of the water pump.
(3) The water outlet pipe of the pump should be as close as possible to the water surface of the water tank. If the water pipe is too high or too low, the work efficiency will be affected.
(4) The distance from the bottom of the water source and the edge of the water source at the bottom valve of the water pump or the inlet pipe shall not be less than the diameter of the inlet pipe, and the inlet water concentration shall not be less than 0.5m. When more than one pump is installed, the distance between the bottom valve of the adjacent pump or the inlet pipe should not be less than 2 times the outside diameter of the bottom valve or inlet pipe.
(5) When the belt is being driven, slippage is likely to occur. Therefore, the pulley diameter calculated according to the calculation formula should be properly adjusted. Power machine pulleys increase: Delta pulleys should be increased by 1% to 2%; flat pulleys should be increased by 2% to 5%. The diameter of the water pump pulley should be reduced: the V-belt pulley is reduced by 1% to 2%, and the flat pulley is reduced by 2% to 5%.
2, pump super suction operation
Due to the dry weather, the water level of the water source has dropped, and the water pump has been operating under long-range suction conditions for a long time. According to the measurement, the pump exceeding the suction distance of 0.5m will reduce the water output by about 20%. Therefore, effective measures must be taken for super-absorption pumps to reduce economic losses and energy waste.
3, the water pump bottom valve leakage can not take the method of filling and leaking
During the hump of agricultural water pumps, bottom valve leakage sometimes occurs, which is mainly due to the tight sealing of the bottom valve. Some operators are trying to save time. Before each startup, fill some dry soil with the inlet pipe, and then fill the soil with the soil to flush the bottom valve so that the bottom valve does not leak water. This method seems easy but not desirable. Because when the water pump starts to work, the sand in the bottom valve will enter the pump with the water, wearing the impeller, pump casing and pump shaft. Using this method for a long time will shorten the service life of the pump. Therefore, when the bottom valve of the water pump is not tight enough to leak water, the bottom valve should be raised for maintenance. If it can not be repaired, replace the new bottom valve.
4, water pump shaft filling leakage
Centrifugal pump in operation, due to high speed, continuous use for a long time, the water pump shaft packing wear faster, if not increase the packing, it will make the water pump shaft packing leakage. When the water pump shaft leaks, cavitation will occur in the pump to accelerate the damage of the impeller. In addition, it has been determined that leakage of the pump shaft packing will reduce the amount of water produced by about 15%. Therefore, if the leakage of the water pump shaft packing is found, it shall be overhauled in time.
5, pump vibration
The vibration of the water pump is generally caused by the bending of the water pump shaft. If the water pump is not repaired in time, parts will be damaged. Therefore, if the pump is found to be vibrating, it should be repaired immediately.
6, the pump in the operation of the transmission belt maintenance
When the pump is running, always pay attention to the tightness of the belt. If it is too tight, the bearing will generate heat, which will increase the maximum damage of the shaft. Conversely, if the pump fails to reach the rated speed, the working efficiency will be reduced, and the belt will be damaged due to bouncing. If it is suitable for tightness, there is slippage phenomenon. Some tape wax can be coated on the belt, and the following points should be noted:
(1) The belt must not be stained with oil to prevent slippage and corrosion.
(2) Keep the belt clean. The belt is dirty, wash it with warm water.
(3) The model specifications of the transmission belt must be consistent and must not be mistaken.
(4) When the belt is not in use, it should be stored in a place where there is no direct sunlight and no corrosion such as oil.
(5) Before the new belt is used, the white powder on the belt must be removed. When replacing the triangle belt, it should be replaced in groups.
