Distillers' grains can be fed with fresh, hot, potted and silage, or they can be fed with straw, wheat bran, bran, corn and other feeds. Feeding fresh and heated to 20-30°C can prevent the occurrence of gastro-intestinal diseases. In order to allow beef cattle and improved beef to get used to eating distiller's grains, they began to give less food. After about half a month or so, they adjusted to it. By the middle of fattening, the amount of feeding can be greatly increased. Adult cows can feed up to 35-40 kilograms per day, young cattle 20-25 kilograms, and smaller cows give 20 kilograms per day. When feeding distiller's grains, it should be matched with some good palatability ingredients to ensure that the fattening cattle have a strong appetite. At the same time, 50-60 grams of salt and 40-50 grams of chalk flour should be given every day. Feeding cattle with distiller's grains can sometimes cause swelling of the stomach, eczema and other diseases. After the discovery, the distiller's grains should be stopped immediately and the amount of other hay fed should be increased to adjust their digestive function. Crusty distiller's grains, such as cereal grains, sorghum husks, can only be used as coarse material.
