Drinking tea can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer

A Swedish study shows that drinking two cups of tea a day can greatly reduce the risk of ovarian cancer.
According to a report in the American "Internal Medicine" published on the 12th, the Caroline School of Medicine of Stockholm studied and studied the living habits and long-term health effects of over 60,000 women from 1987 to 2004. Two-thirds drink tea every day. The study found that only 301 of them had ovarian cancer.

The researchers said in the report that women who drank at least two cups of tea per day had a 46% lower risk of developing ovarian cancer than those who did not drink tea; an additional cup of tea every day continued to reduce the risk by 18%. However, the researchers also said that more research is still needed to confirm the above conclusions.

Black tea and green tea are considered to be rich in antioxidants, helping to prevent cells from undergoing carcinogenic mutations.
