According to Tan Xinghai, from the time of planting to harvesting, each process must be completed manually. Increasing labor costs are one of the reasons for high export unit prices.

“The picking workers can pick up more than 200 kilos a day. The manual cost of fresh fruit is about 1.5 to 2 yuan per catty,” says Tian Xiaoyong, who has been planting alfalfa in Henan for six years.

According to Xie Shouzhong, head of the Institute of Science and Research at Muhongmu Farm in Golmud, Qinghai Province, the picking cost of fresh fruit plus the cost of long-term laborers (practicing pruning, weeding, fertilizing, etc.), and the annual expenditure on farms/industrial labor services are 150 million yuan. about.

At present, the company's production of antimony products has passed the European Union, the United States, Canada and other organic certification.
