How to use the laundry liquid water activity detector

Water activity refers to the energy state of water in a product, the degree of moisture in the product that can be utilized by microorganisms, and the basic data of enzyme and microbial growth. Water in products, such as food, is limited to different ingredients such as protein, salt, and sugar. These chemically bound waters do not affect microorganisms. The more water that is bound, the less water vapor that can be evaporated. Therefore, the water content in the product is not equal to the water vapor partial pressure on the surface. The equilibrium relative humidity is necessarily large, and the microorganisms must be more active. Water activity has a great influence on product stability (resistance to microorganisms, fragrance retention), and has an important influence on powder agglomeration, chemical stability, and physical properties such as paper size.

Guanya GYW series laundry liquid water activity detector is used ;

★ Prepare saturated NaCl solution:

Take a weighing bottle and add an appropriate amount of distilled water. Weigh a certain amount of NaCl with a balance and place it in a weighing bottle. Stir well and saturate the reagents. Stand at room temperature

★ Calibration method::

1 Remove the GYW Moisture Meter from the box and install and connect the printer and measurement sensor. Turn on the power switch.

2 Take a clean sample dish and put in the prepared saturated NaCl solution. Put into the measuring chamber of the instrument and close the measuring sensor cover

3Press the Nacl button on the instrument screen, click the measurement time button, set the time according to the sample requirements.

4 Calibration starts, after the measurement is over. The instrument automatically alarms and the red light in the upper left corner lights up. Record the calibration value. Remove the sample dish.

★Measurement steps:

5Press the single channel button to enter the test page

6 The sample to be tested is subjected to treatment and pulverization. Take a clean sample dish and place the sample to be tested. Place the sample dish into the chamber and close the measuring sensor cover

7 Press the measurement time button to set the time according to the sample requirements.

8 Measurement starts recording the value. At this point, you can click on the curve button to observe the measurement curve in real time.
