This provides theoretical support for the individualized prevention and treatment of myocardial remodeling.
The study also revealed a new mechanism of endocrine regulation of high-salt obesity-related myocardial remodeling. In patients with high-salt obesity, melatonin secretion is reduced, rhythm disorder, melatonin can improve sleep quality and play a cardioprotective role by activating receptors on cardiomyocytes. High-salt obesity leads to increased sympathetic excitability, causing myocardial remodeling, and renal sympathetic nerve ablation can reduce or inhibit myocardial remodeling.
