What are the operating operations of the fermenter machinery?

The ferrite tank is equipped with electrodes. Check each interface before sterilization, whether the appearance of each pipeline is normal, and whether the steam outlet is strong. Each valve should be checked by two people to see if it is completely closed.
At least two people are required to be present when the fermenter is sterilized. One person is responsible for operating the various valves, and the other person is responsible for observing the reported parameters.
After confirming that each valve is in the closed state, open the steam generator inlet valve, start the steam generator, and the steam generator starts to automatically enter the water. At this time, the drain valve at the lower part of the steam generator should be opened, and the drain valve should be closed as much as possible. . Pay attention to the water level in the steam generator to prevent accidents.
At this point, the jacket outlet valve should be completely opened, the steam generator's main valve should be slowly opened, and some of the jacketed intake valves should be slowly opened to start the inlet of the jacket. At the beginning, the steam pressure may be unstable, the pressure gauge pointer swings violently, and the small jacketed intake valve can be properly closed, and then the sampling valve outlet steam valve is opened in turn, the sampling valve is inserted into the steam valve, the bottom valve is discharged from the steam valve, and the bottom valve is steamed. The valve sterilizes the sampling valve and the bottom valve while discharging the water vapor with unstable pressure. When the water vapor pressure does not change drastically, the valve is finally closed and the bottom valve is released.
The temperature in the fermenter tank gradually rises. When the temperature is set to 90°, the stirring motor stops rotating. At this time, the tank main intake valve is opened, the tank outlet valve is opened, and the following valves are opened in sequence: the outlet valve is opened, and the valve is slowly opened. Open the tank into the steam valve and put steam into the tank. The pressure of the air filter begins to rise. When the pressure exceeds 0.1MP, the condensate valve is opened to drain. Continue to open the large tank into the steam valve. After the air in the tank is removed, the pressure inside the tank is slow. Ascending, adjust the outlet valve to the temperature required for sterilization, and start timing when the sterilization temperature is reached.
Adjust the jacket intake valve, the tank inlet steam valve and the outlet regulating valve to maintain the temperature and tank pressure at the set temperature. After the sterilization time is reached, the opened inlet valves are closed in turn, the steam main valve is closed, the exhaust gas exhaust valve in the tank is completely released, the pressure in the tank is released, and the steam generator power is turned off. Turn on the air compressor, and when the tank pressure drops to 0.05MP, slowly open the intake regulator to maintain the positive pressure inside the tank.
During the sterilization process of the fermenter, the operator should wear long trousers with protective gloves to prevent burns. If the steam generator automatically enters the water during the sterilization process, the total steam pressure will drop rapidly. If necessary, the steam main valve can be opened appropriately to maintain the pressure, but the pressure change should be observed carefully. When the steam is passed through the tank, the tank pressure drops rapidly after sterilization, paying attention to the timing of the sterile air. Try not to operate the air compressor and steam generator at the same time. The air filter pressure should not exceed 0.2 MP during sterilization. The size of the condensate will affect the concentration of the liquid in the tank after sterilization, taking into account the increase in steam condensate.
What problems exist in the actual cleaning of the fermenter?
1. The fermentation process produces a large amount of organic matter such as protein, hop resin, polysaccharide, yeast, etc., and inorganic substances such as calcium oxalate and sulfate. After the fermenter is emptied, organic matter and inorganic matter adhere to the tank wall, which is yellowish brown. When the amount of tartar is large, the surface is white, and like the skin of saline-alkali, inorganic matter and organic matter are intertwined.
The use of caustic soda during cleaning only has an effect on the removal of organic matter, and the cleaning temperature reaches 80 ° C or higher, so that it has a good cleaning effect.
Cleaning with a single nitric acid is only effective for inorganic substances and almost ineffective for organic matter. The fouling of the fermenter wall is a mixture of inorganic and organic materials, and it is difficult to clean with a single cleaning agent. Therefore, some breweries carry out a large cleaning of the fermenter every year and thoroughly clean the fermenter.
2. The anti-corrosion layer of T541 on the fermenter wall is partially damaged. After repairing, the surface finish is obviously reduced, which makes it difficult to clean the dirt on the tank wall.
3. The wear or blockage of the washing tank or the washing ball leads to incomplete cleaning of some fermenters and accumulation of dirt.
The factors affecting the cleaning effect of the fermenter are the cleaning strength, the cleaning agent temperature, the type and concentration of the cleaning agent, the cleaning time, and the roughness of the inner wall of the fermenter.
