Control measures for iodine picklecosis in carp

pathogen

It is a fish disease that is caused by parasitism of iodine bubblefish. There are two flask-shaped pouches in the front end of the shells, spiral filaments inside, two embryonic nuclei in the cytoplasm and a clear iodotrophic bubble. The spores are long oval, 11.4 (10.8 to 12.0) microns long, 8.5 (8.4 to 9.0) microns wide, and 4.6 (4.8 to 4.8). Micron, width 2.8 (2.4 to 3.2) microns.

disease

A large number of gray-white tumor-like cysts have formed in the fish gills that have been invaded by wild locusts and iodine bombyxes. On the zygomatic arches of the puffer fish species, a large number of cysts of the iodine bombyceps are parasitized, killing the fish.

Prevalence

It has been found in both north and south of China and is a serious parasitic disease.

Control methods

(1) Thorough disinfection of clear ponds, to a certain extent, inhibited the mass production of spores and reduced the occurrence of this disease.

(2) There is currently no effective treatment.
