Fine pigs should pay attention to herd behavior
“If pigs and humans can speak the same way, many problems that arise during the pig raising process will be solved.†Large-scale pig raising aims to provide pork products quickly, efficiently, and safely, often changing pigs artificially in feed management. The group’s living environment and living habits have caused its production and reproduction performance to decline. Paying attention to herd behavior and formulating feeding methods suitable for herd behavior is an important part of pig farm fine management.
Professor Jiang Qingyan from the Faculty of Animal Science of South China Agricultural University believes that behavior is an important indicator for determining the health status of animals (including physical and mental health). If pig farms pay attention to the behavioral performance and welfare needs of pigs, it will help improve the health of pigs. .
