Temperature rises to strengthen prevention and control of tomato leaf mold

Leaf mold is one of the most serious diseases on tomato. At present, the greenhouse temperature continues to rise in the spring. Humidity is conducive to the occurrence and prevalence of the disease, especially when the overwintering pods are in the fruiting and fruit setting stage. They are the most susceptible to tomato diseases. period. According to a recent survey, the disease commonly occurs in tomato in overwintering pods, and prevention and control must be carried out in time.
Tomato leaf mold can harm leaves, stems, flowers, and fruits. The most common occurrence is in the leaves. Some chlorotic spots appear on the back of the old leaves on the lower part of the early plants, and brownish or dark brown irregular mold layers appear later. The corresponding parts of the front surface of the leaves turned green and yellow, and when the leaves were severe, the leaves dried up and curled. When the temperature of the greenhouse is 9-32°C, the bacteria can grow and develop. The optimum temperature for development is 20-25°C. When the temperature is appropriate and the humidity is relatively high (relative humidity is above 80%), it only takes 10 to 15 days to become common.
Strengthen the management of greenhouses, reasonably venting the air according to weather conditions, appropriately controlling watering, reducing the humidity in the greenhouse as much as possible, and reducing the time for dew condensation on foliage, which can inhibit the occurrence and reinfestation of tomato leaf mold. At the same time, the sick body should be promptly removed, pruned in time, and taken out of the field to be buried or burned. At the beginning of the disease, 25% pyrimethanil EC, 50% thiophanate-methyl WP, 50% carbendazim WP, and 65% zeocin WP can be used for spraying.
