Reconstituting milk powder seems to be a very simple matter. Actually, if the reconstitution method is improper, milk powder cannot be absorbed by the baby.
Improper water brewing
Each can of milk powder is clearly marked with the requirements for brewing water temperature (usually about 40 °C, different brands have different), but often be ignored by novice parents. Some mothers even think that the baby's resistance is poor. The baby's bottle nipple must be sterilized by high temperature. Milk powder should also be prepared with boiling water. This is absolutely not desirable. High water temperature will destroy the nutrients in milk powder, such as vitamin C and B, which will make the baby under-nutrition; at the same time, it will lead to degeneration of the protein, inability to be digested and absorbed, resulting in food accumulation and getting angry.
Incorrect order of preparation
Formula milk should be added to warm water when formulating infant formula. Many novice parents tend to do the opposite and pour the powdered milk into the bottle first and then brew it in warm water. This will result in uneven wetting of milk powder and caking and incomplete dissolution. The brewed milk is difficult for the baby to digest, and it can also lead to food accumulation.
Improper proportion of brewingEach can of milk powder has the recommended brewing proportion, but individual mothers are very free to add the weight of milk powder, and the amount of water used for rushing is also more or less, not to mention the deployment concentration. If the reconstituted milk is too concentrated, it will increase the baby's intestinal burden and kidney burden, resulting in digestive disorders, causing constipation, get angry; if the reconstituted milk is too thin, the baby prone to nutritional deficiencies, leading to small size, weight loss and other conditions.
