Research and Prospect of Wearable Health Monitoring System

Abstract: The wearable health monitoring system uses wearable biosensors to collect human motion and physiological parameters to achieve wearer movement and health management. The wearable health monitoring system is an integrated system with non-invasive continuous detection of human physiological information, wireless data transmission and real-time processing functions, which can meet physiological condition monitoring under low physiological and psychological load conditions. This article first introduces the composition of the wearable health monitoring system and related technologies applied in the wearable health monitoring system, and then highlights the research work we have done related to wearable health monitoring, namely wearable Breathing and ECG acquisition and construction of a multi-parameter body network. Finally, a simple outlook is given for the future development of wearable monitoring systems.

0 Preface

Wearable Health Monitoring System (WMHS) refers to the use of wearable biosensors to collect human motion and physiological parameters to achieve non-invasive, continuous non-invasive diagnostic monitoring of the human body to help the wearer achieve exercise and health. management. The system generally has basic functional modules such as physiological motion signal detection and processing, signal feature extraction, and data transmission and analysis. The human body information mainly obtained by the physiological motion signal detection includes: the first is external data acquisition, mainly through the three-dimensional motion sensor with G-sensor or GPS to obtain the motion state, the exercise distance and the exercise amount, to help the user to manage the exercise and sleep; The second is to help users manage important physiological activities through monitoring of vital signs (such as heart rate, pulse rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, heat consumption, blood pressure, blood glucose and blood oxygen, hormones and BMI index, body fat content).

The design and development of wearable biosensor system health monitoring has attracted a lot of attention in recent years, mainly due to increased medical costs and advances in science and technology such as micro-wearable sensors, smart textiles, microelectronics, and wireless communications. Push. The wearable sensor-based health monitoring system minimizes the impact on the wearer's daily activities in order to achieve personal health management under low physiological and psychological stress and real-time monitoring of patient health. The wearable health monitoring system includes various types of physiological detection sensors, data transmission modules and data processing modules, and thus provides low-cost, low-cost health, mental and behavioral state monitoring that is unobtrusive. This article first attempts to comprehensively introduce the composition of the wearable health monitoring system and related technologies applied in the wearable health monitoring system, and then highlights the research work we have done related to wearable health monitoring, namely wearable Breathing and ECG acquisition and construction of a multi-parameter body network. Finally, some simple prospects for the future development of wearable monitoring systems are presented. Therefore, it has certain reference significance for the development and design of wearable health monitoring system.

At present, the research model of wearable health monitoring system is mainly divided into wearable health monitoring system based on microprocessor and customized platform; wearable health monitoring system based on smart textile; wearable health monitoring system based on body area network ; wearable health monitoring system based on commercial Bluetooth sensors and mobile phones; other types of wearable health monitoring systems. The wearable health monitoring system of any research model usually consists of three modules: the wearable health monitoring system system block diagram shown in Figure 1.

The three modules of the wearable health monitoring system are the physiological and motion information acquisition module of the front end, the communication module in the middle, and the data analysis module. The physiological and motion information acquisition module of the front end mainly collects physiological and motion information of the human body by a series of wearable sensors; then the communication module transmits the collected information to the central node or the remote monitoring site; finally, the remote monitoring site is based on the collected information. Physiological and motor information uses a data analysis module to obtain clinically relevant physiological and pathological information.
