On January 14th, initiated by the Heart Center of Shanghai Children's Medical Center affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, under the guidance of the Chinese Medical Association Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Branch, Chinese Medical Pediatric Surgery Branch, and the Chinese Medical Association Perinatal Medicine Branch, the Chinese heart was born. The Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment Collaboration Group was established to jointly publish the "Chinese Fetal Heart Defect Diagnostic Specification, Clinical Evaluation and Multidisciplinary Management Expert Consensus". This consensus will fill the gap in the lack of prognosis and multidisciplinary management scores in domestic fetal medicine, and will provide scientific guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of nearly 300,000 suspected heart defects in the country each year.
Congenital heart disease (hereafter referred to as congenital heart disease) is the most common congenital malformation, accounting for nearly one-third of the major birth defects in newborns, which is an important cause of perinatal and infant death. In 2011, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology published a systematic review of the incidence of congenital heart disease. Through a review of 114 articles published over 70 years, the study revealed that the incidence of congenital heart disease worldwide is The development of 0.6‰ in the 1940s reached 9.1‰ at the end of the century, an increase of nearly 15 times. In China, the incidence of heart disease in live births is as high as 8‰. It not only accounts for the first cause of birth defects in China (26.7%), but also the birth defects with the fastest increase in detection rate (the detection rate of congenital heart disease in China was 3.56 times in 2000).
With the rapid development of prenatal diagnostic techniques, most of the birth defects in the heart have been found in the screening of prenatal malformations. According to literature statistics, combined with prenatal ultrasound and fetal cardiac nuclear magnetic resonance technology, the detection rate of serious cardiac birth defects is as high as 95%. But the social problem that comes with the high detection rate is that after the fetal heart defect is discovered, how should the parents scientifically determine the fetus to stay?
In our professional children's heart center, the overall success rate of heart birth defects is over 98%. The intelligence and activity ability of the baby after surgery are no different from normal children. It can be said that most congenital heart diseases are diseases that can be cured, and the therapeutic effect is much higher than other common diseases in pediatrics such as leukemia, malignant tumor, megacolon, and autism. However, there are indeed a small number of serious birth defects, which are burdened by social families due to the high cost of treatment after birth or the serious complications of postoperative complications.
