The roughage of salt water for feeding pigs is good

In order to increase the nutritional value of roughage and reduce the cost of raising pigs, the roughage (stalks, shells, and cores of various crops, etc.) can be subjected to saltwater fermentation.

Method: Take crushed dry raw materials 50 kg, salt 750 g, water 50 kg or so, dissolve the salt in water, mix well with the feed, and use the hand to hold the finger tightly to see the water droplets, but do not drop it. It is then placed in a cask or tank and covered with straw or sacks for fermentation. The temperature of the material is gradually raised to 15°C, and the fermentation time is about 1 day.

Fermented roughage, which is sour, sweet, soft, ripe, savory and slightly alcoholic, is a good feed for pigs.
